Internal Complaints Committe

In pursuance of the orders cited in the reference, an Internal Complaint Committee is constituted with the following composition to act decisively against all gender based violence perpetrated against employees and students of all sexes recognizing that primarily women employees and students and some male students and students of the third gender are vulnerable to many forms of sexual harassment and humiliation and exploitation.

The committee shall receive the complaints, keep all records intact and in proper order of the complaints received and should enquire into the complaint to establish the facts.
The committee should keep an elaborate process document of each such case describing the methods adopted and the settlement reached in solving the problem.
The committee is requested to meet at least thrice a year or whenever need arises.
The term of appointment is for three years and is subjected to the statutes, rules and regulations of the university that are in force and that may be amended from time to time.
These orders shall come into force with immediate effect.
